history

In the year 1949 Mrs. Hildegard Kuhn, the foundress and for many years the owner of the antiquarian bookshop, acquired several wooden boxes full of books published before the war at cost of about 80. - DM - at that time a large investment.

With this original allocation of equipment she started her comic and novel booklet kiosk in the bombed ruins of the Augsburgerstrasse 2, which soon became a point of attraction for old and young.

In the sixties Mrs. Kuhn moved into the house rebuilt at the same place and extended her assortment by books and paperbacks.

1998 the niece of the foundress, who left associated with old age, took over the exempt private company. Since that time it is named Antiquariat Carina Lugauer.
